They say age is just a number, and Hollywood legend Al Pacino seems determined to prove that to be true.
According to reports, the Scarface star is set to welcome his fourth child at the grand old age of 83. The actor’s reps confirmed to TMZ that Pacino’s 29-year-old girlfriend Noor Alfallah is eight months pregnant; the pair have been romantically linked since April 2022.
At present, Pacino has three children; Julia Marie, born in 1989, and 22-year-old twins Anton James and Olivia Rose.
As per Fox News, Alfallah – who has previously dated Mick Jagger, as well as billionaire Nicholas Berggruen – shared a photo with Pacino to her Instagram in April, marking the first time an image of the two of them had made its way to either of their social media accounts.
The Godfather star Pacino has been linked to a number of women throughout his life, including Diane Keaton, Tuesday Weld, Jill Clayburgh, Marthe Keller, Kathleen Quinlan and Lydall Hobbs.
Pacino welcomed twins Anton and Olivia with actress Beverly D’Angelo, who he was in a relationship with between 1997 to 2003. The actor then dated Argentine actress Lucia Polka from 2008 through to 2018.
Naturally, word of him becoming a father again at 83 has caused quite the stir on social media. Whilst many have moved to congratulate the Heat legend, there are those who decided to air more controversial opinions.
“She was born when he was 53 years old!” one Twitter user commented.
“Robert de niro having a baby at 79… al pacino having a baby at 82… what is going ON?” another said.
A third wrote: “Al Pacino got someone pregnant who was 2 years old when Heat came out.“
Yet while an 83-year-old man impregnating a far younger woman is valid grounds for discussion, Pacino’s case isn’t the first time we’ve seen it… not even this year!
Earlier this month, it was confirmed that Robert De Niro – who has co-starred alongside Pacino in many famous flicks – had become a father again aged 79.
The Taxi star was asked by a reporter with ET Canada what it was like to father six children.
De Niro, on hand to promote his new film, the aptly name About My Father, replied with a straight face: “Seven actually. I just had a baby.”
Here’s to wishing Al Pacino all the best with his new child. As the parent of a young child myself, I have no idea how he’s going to manage it at his age, but we’re sending him luck all the same!
