Everyone’s favorite weatherman is going to be a grandpa!
That’s right, Today‘s Al Roker is going to be a first-time grandfather.
On Tuesday his daughter Courtney Roker Laga, 36, revealed she and her husband Wesley Laga are expecting their first child.
Courtney, whom Al shares with his ex-wife Alice Bell, shared the exciting news on Instagram.
“A new adventure is about to begin ❤️🍼,” she captioned the post.

After a rollercoaster of a year, it’s time Al and his family received some good news.
“We are extremely excited to welcome a new member into our family and start this next chapter in our lives,” Courtney told TODAY.com. “We feel truly blessed and excited for our little miracle.”
Al made sure to show his excitement about the newest addition to the family by commenting on his daughter’s post.
“Here we go!!! So very very happy!!!!! You guys,” he wrote before adding what he’d like to be called as a grandpa. “Going for Pop-Pop.”
Deborah Roberts, Courtney’s stepmom and Al’s wife, also shared in the excitement writing, “This is so very exciting!!! 😍😍”
Courtney didn’t share how far along she is with her pregnancy, but she did tell Today that not only is she “feeling great” but the “baby is healthy.”
Congratulations to Courtney and Wesley! And congratulations to Al who will be a grandfather for the first time! This will be such an exciting time for the entire family.
