On October 29, Angel Fiorini and her three children were sleeping in their house in Newman Lake, United States, when the unthinkable happened. Their house had caught fire and was engulfed in flames.
The 32-year-old mother woke up coughing and immediately set out to bring her three children to safety.
Angel leapt into her children’s room and picked up her 3-year-old son, Vinny, and 18-month-old daughter, Rosalie. With a child under each arm, she rushed outside, set them down on the lawn, and turned around.
But when Angel headed back inside to rescue her 7-year-old daughter, Gianna, her two little ones tried to follow her back into the house. This left Angel with no other choice than to shut them out of the house so they couldn’t get inside.
By the time Angel found her daughter, the house was so full of smoke that she couldn’t find the front door to get back outside. She put Gianna down on the floor and laid down on her to protect her from the flames and the smoke.
Finally, one of Angel’s neighbors saw the fire and called emergency services. And when Angel and Gianna were pulled out of the house they were both unconscious, but alive.
Angel ended up saving her entire family. The youngest children survived with only a few minor injuries, while Gianna had second-degree burns and had to remain in the hospital for two weeks.
Angel, however, both had second and third degree burns covering half of her body. She was in critical condition, but five weeks after the terrible accident, she was finally able to go home to her children.
Now that’s what I call a true hero! I wish Angel all the best in life and I’m glad that she’s going to see her three children grow up and be happy. They’re lucky to have such a wonderful mother.
