Playboy model Jenna Jameson shares terrifying update after being given one year to live

Former Playboy model Jenna Jameson has opened up on the terrifying health battle that saw her told by doctors that she had less than a year to live.

The 49-year-old, once dubbed “The Queen of Porn” for her long and storied career in the adult entertainment industry, has claimed that her life experienced an abrupt U-turn when a mysterious illness took hold of her body and affected her ability to walk.

As per reports, the model was struck with the illness in 2022 – doctors believed it may have been the result of “numerous other illnesses/diseases”, but were unable to give Jameson a definitive answer.

Whilst struggling to find the source of her problem, Jameson was told that her sickness might be as a result of Guillain-Barré syndrome – where one’s own immune system harms their body’s nerves – or even blood cancer.

Test results, however, proved that wasn’t the case, leaving the former adult star confused and helpless in her distress.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Jameson said that her nightmare experience “started very suddenly”, and that she was able to effectively manage her symptoms in the very beginning.

She explained: “I was doing very well, and then I just started collapsing and lost my ability to walk … they admitted me into the hospital. I think I spent about nine months in the hospital.”

It was there that Jameson was dealt the cruelest blow of all when she was told by doctors that she only had between six months and one year to live.

“When I was first told that I didn’t have very long to live, I think I just balled up,” the 49-year-old said.

“I didn’t really know how to digest that.”

Incredibly, Jameson decided to break out of hospital in a wheelchair, stating: “I finally got to the point where I was like, ‘I have to take my health into my own hands,’ so I put myself in a wheelchair and I wheeled myself out of the hospital.

“I ended up just taking everything into my own hands and making it happen. I knew that I still had so much life left to live.”

With her prospect’s seemingly bleak, Jameson took matters into her own hands, opting to go to therapy and adopting a keto diet.

“I was having a lot of memory issues and I lost years and years and years of my life, so I started going to a cognitive therapist that puts you through puzzles and all these things, and everything just started reconnecting,” she told Entertainment Tonight.

“I feel myself coming back to life when I eat correctly, keto wise. I feel energetic.”

Recently, Jameson’s reps told Fox News Digital that the former Playboy model “isn’t 100% better but feels more positive about her future now.”

Here’s to hoping Jenna Jameson’s health continues to improve. What an unimaginably terrifying thing to be told you only have six months to live!
