This mom’s boyfriend called her a “fat pig” – 7 years later she gets the ultimate revenge

For most of her adult life, Alvina Rayne from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, had been unhappy. The 32-year-old struggled with obesity and filled the emptiness she felt inside with food.

She ended up in a vicious circle. When she felt bad she ate — and when she ate more, she felt worse.

The mother-of-two weighed 274 pounds (112 kg) at her heaviest and her then boyfriend called a “fat piece of garbage.”

But one day, she had had enough, writes the Daily Mail.

Outwardly, Alvina always tried to keep a smile on her face. But inside, she was depressed.

One of her bad habits was throwing herself into relationships that she knew wouldn’t be good for her. Her boyfriend would call her terrible things like “disgusting” and “fat pig.”

And Alvina only had one solution.

She drowned her sorrows in food. And more food.

Alvina consumed more than 5,000 calories a day, which is 2.5 times more than the recommended daily intake for women.

Here’s what she’d eat on a typical day:

Breakfast: Two large bowls of sugary cereal with whole milk.
Snacks: Sandwiches, chips, and soda.
Lunch: Taco Bell or Burger King.
Dinner: Taco Bell or donuts, a bagel with cream, fried chicken, and other ready-to-eat food.
Dessert: Ice cream, M&Ms, or a bowl of cereal.

When she walked up a flight of stairs, Alvina would be exhausted — and she also noticed that she slept poorly at night. These were signs that she was in the beginnings of type 2 diabetes.

But it’s not easy to break such bad habits. Alvina guessed she had an unhealthy relationship with food, but she didn’t realize it for sure until she gots these warning signs.

Alvina could no longer fit in women’s clothing and had to start buying clothes in the men’s department.

Then when Alvina was 25 years old, she decided to change everything. She finally left her boyfriend and started exercising and eating better.

Alvina also cut out most carbohydrates and it didn’t take long before she noticed a difference.

Seeing her body change motivated Alvina and inspired her to leave her old habits behind.

In the end, Alvina became a happy woman who loves her life and is able to overcome her demons.

According to Alvina, once she lost weight, her ex-boyfriend suggested they get back together.

Alvina just laughed.

“When I was severely overweight I had very high blood pressure, the beginnings of type 2 diabetes, polycystic ovary syndrome, left ventricular hypertrophy, severe anxiety, and panic attacks,” Alvina told the Daily Mail. “Now they are all gone after nearly seven years of keto which makes me feel great.”

Alvina has a YouTube channel where she inspires others who are in a similar situation to hers.

“I want others to know that they can start their life completely over, you don’t have to stay where you are, it’s so powerful to realize that you are in control of your body and life,” she says.
