There are several essential oils that can aid an injured back. Eucalyptus has anti-inflammatory properties, which makes it a popular choice when treating back pain. It can be used during a massage or in an essential oil diffuser. Marjoram is another essential oil that is ideal for treating back pain because it has antispasmodic properties.
If you believe stress is contributing to your pain, lavender, frankincense, or peppermint are also good choices to use in a diffuser.
