Police in Atlanta have released surveillance video from a nail salon where an attempted robbery took place July 3 in hopes that the public can help identify the suspect.
According to the Atlanta Police Department the incident occurred at at Nail First located at 2625 Piedmont Rd. NE.
Take a look at the video because it’s unlike any attempted robbery you’ve ever seen.
The surveillance footage shows a man walk into the nail salon with his hand inside a bag.
He immediately demands everyone get on the ground and hand over their money, but no one budges.
When the suspect, who wore a blue hat, black shirt, and jeans, approached an employee one woman used the opportunity to leave the store. Although she remained outside the salon while the suspect continued to demand the customers and employee hand over their money.
Now police are asking for the public’s help with identifying the unsuccessful criminal.
The Atlanta Police Department urges anyone with information to contact the Crime Stoppers Atlanta tip line at 404-577-TIPS (8477). Any information leading to an arrest and indictment are eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.

Thankfully no one was injured during this attempted robbery. Now that this video is going viral hopefully someone recognizes the suspect and they’re held responsible for their actions.
