As the death toll from the fire rises to over 93 casualties, this is the deadliest U.S. wildfire in almost a century. The historic town of Maui has been razed by the fire.

Johnson has been in touch with relief efforts and is raising more awareness about them as well so people can donate to the causes and help the devastation in some way. Johnson highlighted the The Hawaii Community Foundation and gave tips on the best ways to lend aid “and I will continue to get as much information as possible.”

“Heartbroken but our faith and mana is strong,” the actor wrote in the caption of the post. “First responders, health care teams, hotels, locals businesses, boots on the ground organizations and all our local heroes, stay strong – we love you and appreciate you. All our local families, our ohana, our aiga, stay strong thru this devastating time.”
