Elizabeth Hurley is potentially signalling to everyone that her time as a single woman has come to an end. She posted a picture with singer Billy Ray Cyrus which sparked a lot of comments – and not all of them were positive.
In the post shared on Easter Sunday 2025, the 59-year-old actress and the 63-year-old country singer were standing together as Cyrus kissed Hurley’s cheek. They were leaning against a picket fence, and it seemed like they had celebrated Easter together as Hurley had captioned it, “Happy Easter ♥️.”
The pair was dressed casually in farm-appropriate attire. While Hurley sported a white-and-blue plaid flannel shirt with her straw hat, Billy wore a denim shirt and black-and-red striped pants. He was also wearing bunny ears, which signalled to the Holiday the two of them were celebrating.
Elizabeth Hurley’s 23-year-old son was one of the people commenting on the picture. He commented with two emojis, “🥳♥️.”
The couple or their representatives have yet to confirm the relationship.
This is not the first time the couple have sparked rumors of linking up as Hurley used Billy Ray Cyrus’ song “She’s Not Cryin’ Anymore” in an Instagram post she made on April 9, even tagging the singer in a picture of herself in a bikini.
“The most glorious sunset in the glorious Maldives 💗,” she wrote in the caption.
Both Hurley and Billy Ray Cyrus have been known to be in different relationships in the past few years since they split up from their spouses. Billy Ray Cyrus divorced Tish Cyrus in 2022 after spending 28 years together. They share five children together, including Miley Cyrus. Billy also has a child from an earlier relationship with Kristen Luckey, a son named Christopher Cody.
After his divorce, the singer famously began dating Australian musician Firerose, who was significantly younger than him. Soon after dating, the couple sparked engagement rumors after Firerose began to show off a ring on her finger in September 2022.
In October 2023, after spending more than a year engaged, the couple tied the knot. However, Billy filed for divorce just seven months later.
On the other hand, Hurley was married to businessman Arun Nayyar from 2007 to 2011. Hurley said after her divorce that she was doing well, saying, “We’re all quite happy right now and trying to move forward.”
Hurley was also famously linked to Hugh Grant, with whom she was with for 13 years. While they broke up in 2000, Hugh and her remained on good terms with the actor even becoming her son Damian’s godfather.
She said of it, “I’m still extremely good friends with Hugh.”
“You know, we went through so much together. But I’ve been thinking, one of the most important things to keep good relations with your exes is to have a lot of respect for their current life,” she added.
And now that she is seemingly with Billy Ray Cyrus, it seems like some people are really bothered by it. One user showed concern by commenting, “Wasn’t he engaged to someone else last week? 😂”
Another person blunty commented, “you know you are embarrassing now Elizabeth,” while another tried to use their comment as a sort of warning saying, “Nooo!! Just nooo! Run Elizabeth.”
Another outlined why she was concerned about Elizabeth, writing, “Yikes. Did she not listen to the abusive phone calls? He left his ex? How about the way he treats his children? Girl… There are 1 billion other men on this planet and this is what you chose?” The commenter was referring to Cyrus’ contentious divorce to ex Firerose.
