Brendan Fraser debuted a bold new look at a recent fundraising event and some fans are not impressed, saying the star of The Mummy looks like Prince William.

In 1997, when Brendan Fraser appeared in George of the Jungle, he rocked a shaggy Tarzan hair do as the clumsy vine-swinging human raised by apes.
More than 20 years later, he traded in his boyish good looks for his award-winning role in The Whale, where in the 2022 film, Fraser is completely transformed into an obese man with a receding hairline.
While the extra weight was the result of body prosthetics and movie magic, the Encino Man star has been very tight-lipped about speculations surrounding his thinning hair.
In an interview with People in January 2023, Fraser reflected on aging and his changing appearance, explaining that he’s “older now; I don’t look the way I did in those days, and I don’t necessarily want to.”
The father of three adds, “But I’ve made peace with who I am now.”
Dancing Stars
On September 21, the Doom Patrol actor was among the panelist of judges at the Dancing Stars of Greenwich charity dance-off, an event supporting Abilis, an organization that supports people with special needs.
The star of The Mummy franchise joined Tae Bo creator Billy Blanks Jr. as a celebrity judge at the event, held at the Tamarack Country Club in Greenwich, Connecticut. The evening featured a “Dancing with the Stars” competition, live music and a silent auction.
The 55-year-old actor, on the panel for his sixth straight year, was joined by his girlfriend Jeanne Moore, a Hollywood makeup artist and hairstylist.
On September 25th, Moore shared a social media post, with selected images of her and Fraser, along with others, through the evening.
She captions the post, “It’s sensational that the 6th Annual [Abilis] Dancing with the Stars raised over $160,000! Incredible job to everyone put it together!”
Fraser looked dapper in a sharp black suit that he paired with a white shirt while Moore, whom he started dating in 2002, was seen in a blue crochet gown that hugged her curves.
But it wasn’t Fraser’s attire that captured the attention of fans, who were surprised to see that he buzzed his hair.
“Super look Brendan,” writes one fan in the comments section. “I’m kinda liking Brendan’s new hairstyle. He looks very attractive,” shares a second.
“Y’all are STUNNING,” adds a third.
Meanwhile, another netizen was surprised by his shaved head and compared him with royalty.
The user writes of the Journey to the Center of the Earth star, “And for a second there I thought that it was Prince William…”
