53-year-old Gwyneth Paltrow has been an actress for most of her life. During a recent Q&A event in California, she revealed something about her latest film with Timotheé Chalamet. She was worried the young actor would find it weird to film sex scenes with someone so much older, but apparently, the young actor had no issues at all.

Paltrow plays the character of a former actress with a wealthy husband in the movie. She has a passionate affair with Marty, who is played by Chalamet. This happens in the backdrop of Marty trying to win the British Open table tennis tournament.

Josh Safie, who has directed the film, has even shot a passionate scene of the couple in a park where they meet and engage in public fornication, which is cut short by the police.

In the Q&A, Paltrow spoke to Demi Moore, who was also partaking in the event, and said, “He was 27 or 28, and I was 50-whatever, and I mean, it’s weird.”

However, they put everything aside and carried on with their work.

But it seems there is someone who has not been taking the sexual chemistry on screen inside; Paltrow’s son Moses, whom she shares with Coldplay lead singer and ex Chris Martin. She shared how the 19-year-old felt at, she said, “Can you imagine when he came to the premiere in LA? He wanted to die.”

While Paltrow was on NBC’s Late Night with Seth Myers she shared that her son did not handle the ‘sex scene’ well and had put his hands over his eyes when they played out on screen.

The entire thing came to a head when photographers take pictures of Paltrow and Chalamet passionately kissing in Central Park which eventually lands the on-screen pair in trouble.

While her daughter, Apple, cheered her on, she said her son was struggling. Paltrow shared, “My daughter thought it was very bad-a** and my son was like, ‘Oh, my God, Mom’. He was like, ‘This is too much..'”

It seems most audiences agree with Apple’s sentiment, as the movie has made the publisher A24’s record numbers since its premiere in December 2025. It has so far raked in over $100 million worldwide.
