On their third wedding anniversary, Lisa Bonet filed for separation from Jason Momoa, a split that was made public in 2022 and finalized in July 2024.

In their almost 20 years together, the couple welcomed two children, daughter Lola, 17 and son Nakoa-Wolf, 15. Bonet, 56, also shares 35-year-old Zoë Kravitz with ex-husband Lenny Kravitz.

Eligible bachelor

Wasting no time after his 2022 separation, the handsome bachelor started looking to find his next great “amor.”

In 2022, the Game of Thrones alum was briefly dating Mexican actor Eiza González, perhaps best known for her role in From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series, where from 2014 to 2016 she had a starring role.

At the time, an insider told People that he was still getting over his relationship with Bonet and wasn’t ready to make anything official. “It’s not that he’s not taking it seriously, but with his kids, he’s not going to rush into anything quickly. He had a lot of love for Lisa and there is still a lot of mutual respect there as far as she’s concerned,” the source said.

But Momoa’s coupling with González, who’s linked with other A-list actors like Liam Hemsworth and Josh Duhamel, didn’t last.

‘Mi amor’

On May 11, the star of See was at ComicCon in Basingstoke, England, when a fan decided to make her move.

“Are you currently single?” the woman asks the star, who was headlining a speakers’ series at the event.

As the crowd erupts into laughter, Momoa answers, “I’m very much in a relationship.” Refusing to disclose any more information about his new love, he explains that he’s “been in a relationship for a while and really enjoying privacy.”

He adds, “You’ll find out very soon.”

He wasn’t lying.

On May 20, he shared a tweet from his trip to Japan, where he was filming his motorcycle series with Harley-Davidson, On the Roam.

The identity of his “amor” is revealed for the first time.

In one of the photos, the Hawaiian-born actor is seen embracing actor Adria Arjona, his on-screen wife in the 2021 film Sweet Girl.

Momoa writes, “Japan, you are a dream come true you blew my mind. we’re so thankful for everyone who opened their homes, making memories with new friends and old friends, sharing another amazing adventure with mi amor. ON THE ROAM motorcycles and mayhem. All my aloha.”

Later speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Momoa gushed over Arjona, 32, the star of the 2022 film Father of the Bride.

“My lady likes to ride,” the motorcycle enthusiast says of Arjona in the June 2024 interview. He adds that when they ride together and she’s seated behind him on the saddle, that she wraps her arms around him: “Any excuse for more hugs,” he jokes.

‘It’s kind of creepy’

After Momoa’s new relationship was put on blast, online critics offered their opinions, many comparing the star of the 2023 film Hit Man to Bonet.

“She’s like a cross between Lisa and her daughter,” wrote one user while another argues, “Lisa is prettier.”

A third shares, “She actually looks like his ex-wife Lisa Bonet, just younger.”

Meanwhile, others decided Arjona looks like Momoa’s daughter, Lola.

“She looks just like his daughter Lola. It’s kind of creepy,” offers one. A second netizens shares, “Ewww put a side-to-side photo with his daughter…the GF looks exactly like his youngest child.”

A third expresses her concern for the coupling: “That woman looks like his daughter and I’m more than a little perturbed.”

The Puerto Rican actor is the first person that Momoa has publicly dated since the dissolution of his marriage to Bonet.
