On February 4, Kanye West finally broke his silence with social media posts where he seemingly boasts of the motivation behind the stunt that he and his semi-nude wife pulled at the Grammy Awards.
Kanye “Ye” West, 47, has long been known for his avant-garde style, and his wife, Bianca Censori, is proving to be a fashion risk-taker in her own right.
Over the past year, the 30-year-old Australian model has continuously pushed boundaries with her daring looks, often opting for ensembles that make waves in the fashion world.
Her Grammy outfit, however, might just be her boldest yet.
Redefining “daring” with her barely-there ensemble, Censori strutted the red carpet with her rapper husband, and as cameras flashed, fans gasped with her big reveal.
The Australian model turned to face the wall, and slipping out of her floor-length black fur coat, she exposed her shocking ultra-sheer, form-fitting dress, leaving almost nothing to the imagination.
Real drama unfolds
West, ever the hype man, was clearly all in on Censori’s statement outfit, and leaning in, he whispered something in his wife’s ear.
The moment seemed to add a layer of intimacy, but a lip reader claims the conversation was everything but loving and supportive.
Speaking with the Daily Mail, lip-reading expert Nicola Hickling deciphered the “chilling” and “creepy” conversation between the couple on the red carpet, starting with the moment Censori had her back turned to cameras.
According to Hickling, the Yeezy founder tells his wife: “You’re making a scene now.” He then encourages Censori by adding, “Make a scene, I’ll say it’ll make so much sense,” the expert claims.
His wife nodded in approval, and Hickling suggests Kanye then said: “Drop it behind you and then turn, I got you.”
“All right let’s go,” Censori replied, according to Hickling.
Online fans were outraged over the alleged exchange between West and his wife and took to social media to voice their concerns about his controlling behavior.
“Here we have Bianca Censori, Kanye West’s wife, at the Grammys. This is typical ‘fashion’ for her. Girl, blink if you need help,” tweets one netizen.
Responding to the post, a second user writes, “Such an obvious attempt at objectifying her. It almost looks like humiliating her is part of the relationship.”
A third suggests West’s treatment of Censori is cruel and abusive: “It’s inconceivable his wife wanted to disrobe in public, look at her eyes, there’s fear. She should divorce the SOB for marital cruelty & abuse. No caring loving husband would pull such stunts.”
‘This is art’
Shortly after the couple’s bizarre red-carpet walk, the couple reportedly left, fueling speculation that they were asked to leave the awards show due to the stunt.
However, an insider spoke with The Sun and set things straight.
“Ye always planned to do the red carpet and leave – he’d never sit through the Grammys because it’s so dull and boring,” the source said of the rapper who’s won 24 Grammys in his career.
“People have called this a stunt but to Ye this is his art…He turned up, made headlines around the world and left. No one told him what to do and even if they had, he wouldn’t have listened,” the tipster added.
Defending the shocking moment at the Grammys, another insider told the publication that “Bianca was loving life and had a great time.” The person continues, “She’s a muse for Ye and there’s no coercion involved. This is what Ye does, he makes a statement and the whole world talks about it.”

And West appears to be loving the attention.
On Tuesday, February 4, West shared a couple of revealing Instagram posts, seemingly boasting that his wife was trending on social media.
One image shows that “Bianca Censori Grammys” was searched more than “Grammy winners 2025.”
The second, that has since been deleted, shows that Americans have spent more time googling about his wife’s outfit than “Beyoncé Grammys,” “Kendrick Lamar Grammys,” “Benson Boone,” “Chappell Roan” and “Doechii” combined, according to Unilad.
And the online community isn’t pleased with the supposed motivation behind Censori’s barely-there outfit at the Grammys.
“You’re using your wife’s body to get relevant? That’s sad,” writes one user in the comments section of the post that reached 509,000 likes in less than three hours.
A second netizen shares, “that ain’t something to be proud of,” and a third offers, “Yes bro cus she was naked, going naked to the Grammies makes headlines who would’ve thought.”
“[You] got daughters bruv,” adds another, referring to the four kids – daughters North, 11, and Chicago, 7, and sons Saint, 9 and Psalm, 5 – he shares with ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
