South Korean YouTuber Sumin, who has built a following through social experiments during his travels, often disguises himself as a woman by wearing dresses, makeup, and even a fake baby bump to document how strangers react.

One of his videos from India’s Holi festival recently resurfaced online, showing crowds of men surrounding him as they celebrated the annual festival of colors.

The clip appeared to show some men getting uncomfortably close to the influencer, with one man seemingly applying color aggressively as chaos unfolded around him.

The footage, which spread widely on Reddit, left many viewers disturbed.

“I don’t understand why they act like this at all. It’s like they’ve never seen a woman in their lives,” one person commented.

Another wrote, “It’s so disgusting.”

However, some viewers pointed out that the viral Reddit post was misleading. In the original YouTube video, Sumin was not wearing his fake pregnancy bump during the Holi celebrations and was not pretending to be pregnant at the time.

The resurfaced Reddit compilation also included footage from Bangladesh, where Sumin has conducted similar experiments.

The influencer, who has more than 62,000 subscribers, is known for turning his travels into social tests. While many of his videos are lighthearted, this particular experiment highlighted a darker reality.

The viral clip reignited broader discussions about women’s safety in India, where issues such as harassment, stalking, and eve-teasing remain ongoing concerns.

According to India’s National Crime Records Bureau, more than 445,000 crimes against women were reported in 2022. Around 448,000 cases were recorded in 2023, while roughly 441,000 cases were reported in 2024.

Many women also shared their own experiences after seeing the footage.

“One of the most traumatic things that ever happened to me,” one woman recalled, describing how she was allegedly surrounded by intoxicated men who touched her inappropriately before others intervened.

While some cautioned that short clips rarely capture the full context of a situation, the video nevertheless sparked renewed debate online about the everyday realities many women face.

As Sumin’s videos continue to attract attention, the influencer has kept documenting his travels across India and Bangladesh, where his unusual experiments have generated both fascination and controversy.
