Kristi Noem ‘getting divorced’ after husband’s alleged fetish scandal, mother claims

Kristi Noem’s mother has claimed that the former U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security is ending her 34-year marriage to husband Bryon Noem, just months after allegations emerged that he had been living a secret online life involving a so-called “bimbofication” fetish.

According to an interview with the Daily Mail, Corinne Arnold, 77, said the divorce had been expected for some time and claimed her daughter confirmed the decision during a family gathering.

The reported split comes three months after the Daily Mail published allegations that Bryon Noem had been participating in online communities centered around a fetish known as “bimbofication.”

The term generally refers to role-playing or self-transformation into an exaggerated, hyper-feminine “bimbo” persona. According to the report, images allegedly showed Bryon wearing fake breasts, makeup and feminine clothing while using the online alias “Jason Jackson.”

At the time, a spokesperson for the Noem family said they had been “blindsided” by the reports and asked for privacy and prayers.

Mother speaks out on divorce

Now, Corinne Arnold has told the Daily Mail that the marriage is coming to an end.

“It has been difficult, but we knew this was coming, that they were going to get divorced,” she claimed.

Arnold also recalled asking her daughter during a party for her grandchildren whether she and Bryon might reconcile.

According to Arnold, Kristi replied: “No. No. We’re going to get a divorce.”

The 77-year-old added that she felt saddened by the situation, saying she was “sick” about the reported divorce but believed her daughter had taken a long time to reach the decision.

Neither Kristi Noem nor Bryon Noem has publicly confirmed that divorce proceedings have begun.

When the allegations involving Bryon Noem first surfaced in April, President Donald Trump said he felt sympathy for the family.

“They confirmed it? Wow, well, I feel badly for the family if that’s the case, that’s too bad,” Trump told reporters at the time.

“I haven’t seen anything. I don’t know anything about it. That’s too bad, but I just know nothing about it.”

For now, the reported divorce remains based solely on comments made by Kristi Noem’s mother, and the family has not publicly confirmed the claims.
