A spa weekend usually brings to mind fluffy robes, face masks, and a little peace and quiet. But Leslie Mann, Anna Faris, Isla Fisher, and Michelle Buteau had something much more chaotic in mind.

Actresses Leslie Mann, Anna Faris, Isla Fisher, and Michelle Buteau, recently slipped into bikinis while promoting their new comedy, Spa Weekend, and their playful video quickly had fans talking.
One fan even joked, “You guys look so good I thought this was AI for a sec LOL!”
The actresses looked like they were having a blast as they posed, danced, and jumped into each other’s arms in the clip.
The four actresses traded their spa robes for bikinis
On August 20, Buteau shared an Instagram video featuring her three co-stars.
Mann kept things simple in a black bikini, while Faris wore a blue-and-brown striped Zimmermann two-piece.
Fisher went for the most eye-catching look, wearing a colorful pink-and-violet Camilla swimsuit covered in leopard and floral prints. She also wore her hair in pigtails and jumped into the arms of her co-stars during the video.
Buteau appeared at the end in a bright cobalt swimsuit.
The caption summed up the movie pretty well: “best friends, bathing suits & bad decisions!”
The post immediately attracted plenty of enthusiastic reactions.
“Whatever this is… I f—king love it lol,” commented Jenni “JWoww” Farley.
Singer JoJo Levesque was equally excited, writing, “This is so f—king weird, and I am OBSESSED.”
Just a few days earlier, the actresses had been spotted walking around New York City wearing matching plush white robes, giving fans a much more traditional version of a spa day.

The timing of the video makes sense considering what the movie is actually about.
Spa Weekend follows four longtime friends who realize that careers, relationships, children, and everyday responsibilities have left them with almost no time for themselves or for each other.
They decide to escape to a luxury spa resort for a weekend of relaxation.
Naturally, things do not go according to plan.
Instead of the peaceful getaway they imagined, the women find themselves caught up in a series of chaotic situations, bad decisions, and plenty of laughter.
The movie’s story also touches on something that Faris says feels increasingly difficult in real life, finding time for female friendships.
Anna Faris says spending time with female friends can feel like a fantasy
Speaking to People on August 22, Faris admitted that getting away with her girlfriends is not always easy at this stage of her life.
“We’re at a time in our lives where there isn’t room for nurturing female friendships,” she said.
Faris, who shares her 13-year-old son Jack with ex-husband Chris Pratt, joked that sometimes she wants to tell her friends, “Can I hang out with you in a decade when the kid graduates?”
She described the reality of parenting as a never-ending list of responsibilities.
“The basketball game. The dentist. It’s all right here,” she said.
Fisher, who has separated from her ex-husband Sacha Baron Cohen, had a slightly different take.
“I mean, speak for yourself,” she joked. “I’m divorced, so all I do is see friends!”
Despite their different experiences, Faris said she hopes the movie reminds people to appreciate the friendships they have.
“I’ll take the value of these friendships with me,” she said.
She also praised the experience of working alongside Mann, Fisher, and Buteau, saying she was grateful they were all at a point in their lives where they could recognize how special it was to work together.
Fisher clearly enjoyed the experience too and is already hoping for another movie.
“I really hope we get to make another one,” she said. “I just love to work with you girls.”
Faris then joked, “Dear Diary, I think the ladies finally like me.”
Leslie Mann says women need to give themselves a break
Mann also believes the movie’s message goes beyond simply getting together with friends.
Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar on August 21, she said many women could relate to the feeling of constantly being responsible for everyone else.
“Women really want to get away and take a break,” Mann said. “We need a break!!! And women don’t give themselves enough of a break.”
She even had an unconventional suggestion for women trying to achieve a better work-life balance: pretend you do not know how to do certain things so someone else will take care of them.
Mann used her husband, filmmaker Judd Apatow, as an example.
“My husband [Judd Apatow] will go into the kitchen and pretend like he can’t find anything, and I just do it…and I realize that’s a scam,” she joked.
“He just doesn’t want to do it!”
And judging by the reactions to the actresses’ latest bikini-filled outing, it seems their chaotic version of a girls’ weekend is exactly what plenty of fans would happily sign up for.
