‘One Life to Live’ star dies at 42, leaving everyone devastated

Death is never an easy thing to come to terms with. The death of a celebrity you admired can also hit you hard. And when someone passes away in an untimely fashion, it can seem even harder.

Amanda Davies has passed away at age 42. The death comes as a shock to all her loved ones and fans. She appeared on the show One Life Left to Live alongside her mother Erika Slezak. It was her mom who revealed that Davies “died very suddenly.”

“It is with great sadness that I share the news of the passing of Erika’s daughter Amanda Elizabeth Davies who died very suddenly,” the official fan club website read. “The family is heartbroken and would appreciate privacy at this time.”

No further details about her death have been revealed.

Slezak has played Victoria “Viki” Lord on the ABC soap opera for more than four decades. In earlier seasons of the show, her daughter Davies joined the show to play a younger version of her mother’s character. She appeared in a 2011 short titled The Gift.

Her dad, Brian Davies, is also an actor. He has appeared in works such as The Age of InnocenceConvoy as well as American Gigolo.

Davies’ death is the second death in recent times for the cast of One Life to Live. Last month, Kamar de los Reyes, who starred on the show as Antonio Vega, died after a brief cancer battle at 56 years old.
