Signs of thyroid cancer after Pam Bondi is reportedly diagnosed

Former US Attorney General Pam Bondi was diagnosed with thyroid cancer soon after being removed from her role in the Trump administration, according to reports.

Bondi, 60, was removed from her role by President Donald Trump in April, 2026, having served since she was sworn in on February 5, 2025.

A source told Axios – as cited by Fox News – that she has already undergone treatment for thyroid cancer and is currently in recovery.

Former White House staffer Katie Miller, married to Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, reposted the report in question on X earlier this week, writing: “Pam has been quietly kicking cancer’s ass the last few weeks.”

Axios also claimed that Bondi has recently been appointed by President Trump to to an advisory committee focused on artificial intelligence policy.

According to that report, Bondi is expected to serve on the Presidential Council of Advisors on Science and Technology.

Word of Bondi’s cancer diagnosis comes mere weeks after she was removed from her position as attorney general.

Writing on Truth Social to announce her departure, Trump said: “Pam did a tremendous job overseeing a massive crackdown in Crime across our Country, with Murders plummeting to their lowest level since 1900.

“We love Pam, and she will be transitioning to a much needed and important new job in the private sector, to be announced at a date in the near future.”
