Tragic update: Body of missing 58-year-old with dementia found 2 weeks after disappearance

A missing grandfather with dementia has been found after almost two weeks of searching, according to reports.

58-year-old Timothy Osborne was reported missing after leaving his home in Locust Grove, Georgia, on February 5.

His family issued pleas for the public to help in the search to bring him safely home, but, as per news sources, his body has been found in the Henry County reservoir …

Osborne, who suffered from dementia, was in hospice care at the time of his disappearance, though his family said his condition had been getting worse of late.

It’s reported that he simply walked out of his house while his wife was in the shower, instigating a large-scale search.

As per Fox5, police have confirmed that his body was discovered close to where his clothing, a hat and one of his shoes were found on Wednesday.

Timothy’s heartbroken wife, Kelly Osborne, released a statement on Facebook that read: “I have lost my best friend, soul mate, husband and heart walking outside of my body today. Thank you to everyone for the prayers, searching and support through this nightmare.

“Please keep my family in your prayers while we try to figure out how to go through life without Tim. I love him with every breath in my body. I’ll miss him until my last breath…”
