Woman mistakes Siberian Husky dog for wolf and slaughters it – then brags about it on the internet

A woman from Montana is under investigation after causing a social media storm when she bragged about shooting, skinning, and posing for photos with a Siberian Husky.

According to reports, Amber Rose, a hunter, posted a string of photos to Facebook, along with the claim that she had thought the animal to be a baby wolf, not a domestic dog. In the caption, she revealed how she got a “great feeling” from texting “her man” after she incident.

Rose’s post read: “So this morning I set out for a solo predator hunt for a fall black bear, however I got the opportunity to take another predator wolf pup 2022.

“Was a great feeling to text my man and say I just smoked a wolf pup.”

No sooner had she put out the controversial post, however, did people begin to challenge the idea that it was indeed a wolf pup she had killed.

In fact, many found it hard to believe how Rose herself could have possibly believed the animal to be anything other than what it was: a dog.

Rose back-tracked in a series of now-deleted Facebook posts, but the backlash on social media was enough to spark an investigation from the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office.

In one of the photos posted to Facebook, Rose could be seen smiling while holding the dog’s head. She had also skinned the animal and posed with it for a number of pictures.

After people hit out at her post, she switched tactic, instead claiming that she had only shot the dog because she thought it was a “hybrid” and that she was fearing for her life.

“My safety was top priority (sic) this animal was growling, howling and coming at me like it was going to eat me,” Rose wrote to Facebook.

The woman went on to add that she would open fire on the dog if put in the same situation again.

“I would still have shot it because it was aggressive and coming directly for me!” she wrote. “So please remove all your post thinking I just shot and killed someone’s pet!”

As per Flathead County Sheriff’s Office, someone had contacted officials to alert them to the fact that there were a number of husky and shepherd mix dogs loose in the nearby Flathead National Forest, and that one of the dogs “may have been shot.”

Deputies added that Rose is under investigation, though the type of punishment she could face has not yet been made clear.

According to reports, authorities are also searching for the person who abandoned the dogs – a group of 11 – in the woods.

What a sickening thing to do! I really hope this lady is brought to justice.

Please, share this article to say a prayer for the poor dog that lost its life, and if you think Amber Rose should face some sort of punishment.
