Reports suggest that security issues were the reason Harry and Meghan decided to change their kids’ school. Still, the couple has received heavy criticism from both experts and parents.
Archie and Lilibet have been enrolled in their new school, but whether they enjoy it is unknown. The school has been kept private.
But now, Prince Harry has given an update on how Archie and Lilibet are doing at school after their turbulent start.
While attending the Invictus Spirit Gala Dinner & Awards in London on Thursday, the estranged prince broke his silence on how the family’s return to Britain has been.
“We’re getting stuck into the work. Kids are in school. We’re happy,” Harry told Hello! Magazine, describing the family’s first couple of weeks back in the UK as “eventful.”

Despite the confusing start to their UK school adventure, Harry’s latest comments suggest Archie and Lilibet have settled into their new routine.
But like many of us can relate to, enrolling in a new school, or perhaps starting a new job, it can be quite nervous beforehand. Harry revealed that his children at breakfast before leaving for school had “a bit of Monday blues.”
“It was always Sunday night blues when you’re being sent away to boarding school like I was, but for them, at breakfast this morning, I decided, you know what? You’re just being a little bit tricky, so I’m going to tell you exactly what I’m doing tonight.”
The relaxed morning gave Harry a chance to turn the moment into a meaningful conversation, telling Archie and Lilibet about the children and families he would meet later that day.
“They were genuinely fascinated and asking all sorts of questions,” he said. “So, like with all of my work and their mum’s work as well, whatever we can do to try to instil some of that awareness, I think is absolutely crucial.”
