80 Kids Shave Their Heads To Support Classmate With Cancer.

When Marlee Pack returned to school after 40 weeks of chemotherapy, the 9-year-old girl from Colorado didn’t have to worry about anyone staring at her bald head. That’s because, thanks to her incredible classmates, Marlee wouldn’t be alone. After watching Marlee battle cancer for a year, best friend Cameron wanted to do something to honor her return to school. So after some thought, she decided to shave her head in solidarity with her bestie. Marlee, who was diagnosed with alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma, was thrilled, but she had no idea that Cameron’s idea would take off the way it did. School officials were so inspired by Cameron’s kind gesture that they organized a charity event entitled “Be Bold, Be Brave, Go Bald,” where the community both donated to cancer research and shaved their heads to support Marlee. All told, 80 students, three female teachers, both male principals and even a student’s mom all shaved their heads. Amazing! Watch video from the heartwarming charity event below!
