Another day, another Wheel of Fortune contestant “robbed” of a prize on the bonus puzzle.

The contestant, Megan, only had to guess a two-word puzzle to win the prize host Pat Sajak held in his hands.
After guessing several letters, the puzzle read “P_N_” “_RC_ _ D.”
The timer started and Megan began guessing.

What did you hear?
According to the vast majority of Wheel of Fortune fans online, Megan said the correct answer, “pink orchid.” However, that’s not what the judges heard.
There were also a few people who believed while she said “orchid” whatever she said first was not the correct answer.
“She said ‘SOMETHING orchid’. I even heard it the first time. People need to get their ears checked, I swear to God,” a fan wrote on X.
When the timer ran out, Sajak did his best to console Megan before revealing the prize she could have won, $40,000.
“You might have been overthinking a type of orchid. I’m sorry that didn’t work out for you.”
