‘Wheel of Fortune’ contestant slammed for messing up easy bonus puzzle: ‘You moron’

There’s few fans that are as passionate as Wheel of Fortune fans. While I’d love to be on the show one day, I’d also hate to be on the show in fear of making a fool of myself and never hearing the end of it.

During a recent episode, a woman named Tarhea made it to the bonus round. Unfortunately, she didn’t win, and fans let her know.

For the bonus round Tarhea chose “Food & Drink” as her category. “BAGELS & ___G_N_TS” appeared on the puzzle after all the given letters and the ones she chose were shown.

The countdown started and she guessed “bagels and beignets,” a good guess, but not quite it. Tarhea then said, “bagels and croissants,” an answer that was more out in left field than her first guess.

Time quickly ran out and Tarhea didn’t get the correct response, which was “bagels and doughnuts”.

Pat Sajek attempted to make her loss her a little less saying, “You know a lot of shops have stopped spelling it the proper way, and that’s probably what you were …”

Unfortunately, it didn’t soften the blow too much as Tarhea lost out on winning a brand new BMW, though she did go home with more than $25,000 in winnings.

And it didn’t help win her any sympathy from the fans as many took to social media to call her out for not knowing the bonus round puzzle.

“IT WAS BAGELS AND DOUGHNUTS YOU MORON HOW DID YOU GET IT WRONG OMG,” a fan wrote.

Another person wasn’t as kind, writing, “she didn’t get this. she kept saying “bagels and beignets.” i violently hate this f***ing show.

Would you have solved this puzzle while on television? It’s probably harder than it looks.
