Rock star Jack White had a few words to say about Mark Wahlberg, Guy Fieri, Mel Gibson, and Joe Rogan following images that surfaced showing them interacting with former president Donald Trump over the weekend at a UFC fight in Las Vegas.
“Anybody who ‘normalizes’ or treats this disgusting fascist, racist, con man, disgusting piece of shit Trump with any level of respect is ALSO disgusting in my book,” White wrote in an Instagram post that featured photos of all four celebrities.
“That’s you Joe Rogan, you Mel Gibson, you Mark Wahlberg, you Guy Fieri,” he added. “This is a statement from me, not a discussion/debate.”
Comments were turned off on his post.
Last month Trump, who is currently seeking re-election in 2024, was indicted on the mishandling of classified documents and making false statements and conspiracy to obstruct justice.
Trump attended the fight after an event for his Nevada primary.
While the celebrities may have appeared to be friendly with Trump, many online were shocked to see their favorite celebrities shaking hands with the twice-impeached and twice-indicted former president.
While others simply couldn’t wait to say I told you so.
White is no stranger to taking a firm stand against what he believes is wrong.
Previously the White Stripes lead vocalist and guitarist has slammed the reversal of Roe v. Wade and the lack of gun control laws following the mass shootings in the United States.
