Meghan Markle has been a divisive figure ever since she married Prince Harry and joined the British Royal Family. Now it seems that her latest post has again made her a topic of discussion.
The Duchess of Sussex shared about the family’s trip to Disneyland.

Meghan Markle shared images of her and her family’s trip to Disney, in Burbank, California. In a short montage of their trip, the 43-year-old former actress showed her husband, Prince Harry, and children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, as they celebrated Lilibet’s birthday.
In the video, the family rides various rides and also shows the moment Lilibet meets Elsa, a Disney character from the movie Frozen. In the caption, Meghan Markle wrote, “Thank you @disneyland for giving our family two days of pure joy!,” In the background, the song “It’s a Good Day” by Peggy Lee played.
The post fueled some skepticism towards the royal couple as they had previously talked about wanting privacy for their children, while Meghan still decided to post a video about her daughter’s birthday trip.
“Good they are happy but give it a rest. I thought they wanted “privacy”,” one person wrote.
“Was the park closed to the public to accommodate the privacy they strive to have?” another wrote, while another netizen added, “The privacy tour goes to Disneyland”
Other people were annoyed by Prince Harry’s constant talk of needing a security detail in the U.K., which he has now been denied by the Royal Family after the Duke and Duchess decided to step away from their royal duties. But as for touring Disney in the U.S., the couple seemed unfazed.
“It’s funny how Harry feels they need security in England but he doesn’t need security her in the US,” one person wrote.
But some were also leaving positive comments, with one writing about how this was the same park where Diana brought her own boys.
“Harry and William were taken there by Princess Diana. Happy you had a great day with your kids,” one person recalled.
Another person shared, “They are adorable! I’m glad Harry is experiencing this with his family. His Mom would be proud!
Meghan Markle has in the past talked about her and her husband’s need for their children’s privacy. She said, “Our kids are young; they’re three and five. They’re amazing. But all you want to do as parents is protect them. And so, as we can see what’s happening in the online space, we know that there’s a lot of work to be done there, and we’re just happy to be able to be a part of change for good,” she said.
“Being able to have my own little girl, as I’ve spent so much of my life championing the rights of girls and women, and to be able to see this as a multigenerational story,” Meghan said in her interview with People Magazine.
She went on to include Prince Harry and her son Archie as well, saying, “Archie is of course included in that, my husband is of course included in that — but I love the heritage feeling of it and knowing this is something that I can create in front of my daughter and teach her what it’s like to be a working mom,” she said. “This is something that hopefully can be part of her legacy too.”
