The cast of Stranger Things, including Milly Bobby Brown, walked the red carpet for Season 5 at 5 FYC event on November 8. This was a big day for everyone, especially Brown, as she is one of the show’s longstanding leads.
Brown began her acting career at just 12 years old. Since then, she has been in the spotlight, with every move scrutinized. It is not just her acting that is critiqued but also her body, clothing, and more.
The latest thing people have been giving their unwanted opinions on is her breasts. As pictures from the red carpet started circulating on social media, so did vile comments about the actress’s body. Some commented on how ‘saggy’ they looked, while others were rightly incensed by the critique.
“These losers have never seen a real woman in their entire lives,” a fan wrote in a scathing reply.
The actress rose to fame at just 12 years old. As she grew older and became a woman, people became incredibly critical of her. Some accused her of going under the knife since they believed she looked a lot older than she actually was.
“She’s a grown *ss married woman. People age. It’s normal. Stop making it weird and stop being f*cking mean,” a fan defended the actress at the time.
During the red carpet event, Brown wore a black beaded gown made of mesh which had a deep plunging neckline. The dress had a velvet bow at the waist, which was embellished with diamonds. The form fitting dress was meant to accentuate her figure but people were critical of the choice, feeling emboldened to comment on the actress’ body.
“Extremely saggy,” one person distastefully wrote. Thankfully, there were people who were appalled on Brown’s behalf and came to her defense.

One of the vocal fans happened to be News Australia’s columnist Mary Madigan, who said anyone upset over the look was merely “baffled by natural breasts.”
Others were sickened at how in this day and age, access to the internet and highly sexualised content around women has made people even less aware about female anatomy.
Millie Bobby Brown has been vocal about the comments she gets on her appearance. Earlier this year, she had something to say about journalism that was used to body-shame her. She wrote, “I respect journalism, but the press … please stop slamming my body in article headlines.”
In 2024, Brown married Jake Bongiovi, rockstar Jon Bon Jovi’s son. In August of this year, the couple reportedly adopted a daughter together.
