Just weeks after celebrating their wedding, a young couple’s love story ended in heartbreaking tragedy.
Adam Hencek, 23, and Tomas Feuller, 25, a married Slovakian couple living in Carrick-on-Suir, Ireland, died just days apart. Adam died at home on June 2, and Tomas passed away three days later, according to a GoFundMe campaign started by Adam’s aunt, Mirka Kohutovičová
The fundraiser was launched to help cover the costs of the couple’s wake and cremation. Donations poured in quickly, and the campaign reached its €12,000 goal within just one day

As friends, family members, and community members mourned the devastating loss, many shared tributes honoring the two men and the life they had built together.
According to The Mirror, Adam and Tomas were laid out together for public viewing at Condons Funeral Parlour in Clonmel before being taken to Island Crematorium in Cork for a private cremation ceremony the following day.
Among those paying tribute was a friend named Josephine, who shared an emotional message in Adam’s memory, according to LADbible.
“To my darling friend, my condolences on your passing to your family at this sad time.
“Especially to your beloved Tomas. You were the brightest light on this earth and I know you’ll be the brightest star. You will be beyond missed.”
“Together in life, together in heaven”
Another mourner remembered Adam as someone who had taught her to play piano, describing him as “a brilliant teacher and a gentleman” while expressing sympathy for his family during their grief.
A woman who knew both men through work said that “their energy and love of life was infectious” and spoke of her sadness at learning of their deaths.
Others offered condolences to the families of the couple, describing the loss of two men who died “in the prime of their lives.” Many said they hoped loved ones would find comfort in memories shared with Adam and Tomas.
One tribute captured the heartbreak felt by many in the community.
“Such a tragedy. Two handsome young men passing over a month after their wedding,” the mourner wrote.
“Together in life, together in heaven.”
The fundraiser met its target, helping cover the costs of laying Adam and Tomas to rest together.
