The channel is dedicated to finding people’s lost items and solving cold cases from years ago. And similarly, Jeremy Sides was on a hunt to find two teens who went missing over 20 years ago.

Erin Foster and Jeremy Bechtel went missing on April 3, 2000. The teenagers were last seen leaving a party in Erin’s 1998 Pontiac Grand Am. They were on their way home but never arrived.

Today is Jeremy's birthday and we have received a request from someone close to him to share his and Erin's pictures…

Since then, the teenagers’ families have been left with unanswered questions. But that was recently changed because of YouTuber, Jeremy Sides.

Jeremy Sides, who is a navy veteran and certified scuba diver often goes on hunts for treasure or sometimes for missing persons on his popular YouTube channel.

He aimed to find answers about what happened to Erin Foster and Jeremy Bechtel. Jeremy searched through the Calfkiller River in Sparta, Tennessee where he believed he might find the missing teens.

And he did. Jeremy Sides used his equipment and expert skills to locate the wreckage. He came across an item submerged and atop the river bed and dove to confirm whether it was the same car.

When dove and saw the car, he looked for the number plate to confirm it was indeed Erin’s 1998 Pontiac Grand Am that he was looking at. The windows were up so he could not get a look inside. He took the number plate off of the vehicle for evidence to present to authorities.

Once Jeremy was on land, he immediately notified the local authorities about his discovery who were en route immediately. An officer soon arrived at the scene and called the station to confirm whether the number on the number plate was indeed registered to the Fosters. Immediately their suspicions were confirmed; this was Erin’s car.

The car was then pulled out of the river and examined by experts to see what could have gone wrong. Sides believes that Erin simply lost control of the vehicle when she was turning a corner and plunged into the river.

The families of the teenagers finally have answers as to what happened to their children and can finally put them to rest. The families have set up GoFundMe accounts for both Erin Foster and Jeremy Bechtel to help them with unexpected funeral costs.

Jeremy Sides helped solve a case that had gone cold years ago. He used his own time and resources to put the hearts of the missing persons’ loved ones at ease. In our book that makes him a hero.
