Recently, Pollan celebrated her 63rd birthday… and Fox shared a heartwarming tribute to his wife on social media.

Fox shared an album of photos on Instagram, including several pics of him and Pollan together over the years, Pollan on the Oscars red carpet and a pic of the couple with their four children.

“She showers the people she loves with love, she shows them the way that she feels,” Fox wrote in the caption.

“Happy happy birthday,” Fox wrote to his wife. “My forever Summer girl, my love, my best friend, and the most beautiful amazing mom to our four stupendous kids.”

“Love love love you. 🌻🎂☀️ ❤️”

Pollan seemed to appreciate her husband’s sweet post: “Love this and you!!!” she replied on Instagram.

Many celebrities, including Julianne Moore, Jennifer Grey, Katie Couric and Julianna Margulies, chimed in to wish Pollan a happy birthday.

Fox & Pollan have been married since 1988. They first met years earlier on the set of Family Ties, on which Pollan played the girlfriend of Fox’s Alex P. Keaton. They worked together again on the film Bright Lights, Big City and began a relationship.

The couple married on July 16, 1988. They have four children together: their son Sam, twin daughters Aquinnah and Schuyler, and daughter Esmé.

Only a few years into their marriage, Fox’s life took a devastating turn after he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1991.

“It was scary,” Fox recalled on The Late Show With David Letterman in 2015. “I was 29 years old and so it was the last thing I expected to hear. I thought I’d hurt my shoulder doing some stunt because I had a twitch in my pinkie. And the doctor said ‘You have Parkinson’s disease.’ He said, ‘The good news is that you have 10 years of work left.’”

Fox struggled to come to terms with the disease, but says his wife’s love and support helped him through the darkest times.

“We didn’t know what to expect,” Fox told Today. “One of the things I’ll always love Tracy for is that at that moment, she didn’t blink.”

The couple have now been married for 34 years, and give each other constant love and support.

“I think we really listen to each other, we are there for each other when we need each other,” Pollan told People. “And then we also give each other space when that’s needed. Just feeling off of what’s needed at the moment and trying to be there.”

“Tracy gives our family everything that we need. Any good in our family, anything good that we do, comes from her,” Fox added.
