The Royal Family has had their issues this year. When the news of Kate Middleton’s health came out, people were incredibly worried about her. Now, the Princess is appearing in some capacity to the public.

Prince William and Kate Middleton has been seeing sporting a five o’clock shadow. In a new video, Kate Middleton and Prince William surprised Olympic athletes from Great Britain with their well wishes. Athletes from Great Britain won 65 medals in total.
In the video posted below, William who is usually clean shaved, sported a scruffy bear as he wore a Team GB t-shirt as they addressed the athletes.
And according to the comments, it seems a lot of people appreciated the new look! One user commented, “Ohhh… William is really in vacation mode. Great 👌👌” while another user added, “Love the beard on Prince William 🤩” and another fan wrote, “I had to watch that again, just to see William’s stubble – wowza! 🙌 … and I’m waaaaaay too old to be writing that! 😀😀😀”
“From all of us watching at home, congratulations to Team GB,” Middleton addresses the camera. Her husband adds, “Well done on all you’ve achieved. You’ve been an inspiration to us all.”
Apart from the Prince and Princess of Wales, the video also featured some other familiar faces, including Snoop Dogg, David Beckham and a few others. All the familiar faces congrtulated the British athletes for winning their 14 gold medals, 22 silver and 29 bronze. The Great Britain’s team took 7th place overall.
In the caption for the video, the young royal couple congratulate the Olympians and express their excitement for the 2024 Paris Paralympics, which kicks off at the end of August and goes on through September.
“Every athlete showed immense dedication, heart and passion. You made us all so proud!” the caption read. “Here’s to celebrating every triumph at @paris2024 and looking forward to more from @paralympicsgb_official later in the summer 🇬🇧🥇.”
The couple seems to be getting back into the swing of things, somewhat. For a while this year, people were concerned about where Kate Middleton was because the Princess did not make a public appearance for months.
Then in March this year, the princess announced that she is currently undergoing treatment for cancer. We are sending the Princess our best wishes as she undergoes her therapy.
