Phil Foden’s partner Rebecca Cooke had a swift reaction when OnlyFans star Lily Phillips approached the Manchester City footballer at a boxing event and the whole thing was caught on camera.
The incident took place at the Tommy Fury vs Eddie Hall Misfits Boxing event on June 13, where Foden was seated ringside with Cooke when Phillips made her way over to the pair.
As Phillips approached, Foden politely leaned forward to hear what she had to say. Cooke, however, was less welcoming. She put her arm out, wagged her finger at Phillips and waved her away before she could finish speaking.
Video quickly spread online
Video of the interaction spread quickly online, racking up thousands of views within hours.
Speaking to LADbible after the video went viral, Phillips pushed back on how Cooke had handled the situation.
“Before I could even finish my sentence, his girlfriend, wife, whatever… was waving her b***dy finger in my face,” she said.
“I was just asking for a photo, I’m not gonna shag your man. So I was like, settle down.”
A friend of Foden and Cooke speaks up
Neither Foden nor Cooke has spoken publicly about the incident. However, a friend close to the couple says that Cooke’s reaction was no surprise to anyone who knows her well, according to The Sun via LadBible.
“Rebecca and Phil have grown up alongside each other and it certainly hasn’t been all smooth sailing between them,” the source said.
“But she has really learnt to stand her ground and will do whatever she can to protect her family. The last thing she would want is a picture of Phil and Lily circulating, so she shut it down as quickly as she could and before Phil even really knew what was going on.”
Phillips is best known for sleeping with 100 men in a single day, a stunt that made international headlines.
Foden, 26, is one of England’s most recognizable footballers, though he was left out of the national squad for the 2026 World Cup currently taking place in the United States.
He and Cooke have been together since their school days in Stockport, Greater Manchester. The couple have three children together. A friend close to the pair told The Sun that Cooke’s swift reaction was no surprise given the history they share and the life they have built together.
