Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s intention to divorce shocked everyone. People were heartbroken to know the couple was splitting up. Things became even more complicated when Jolie revealed her various reasons for divorce.
Famously dubbed ‘Brangelina’ in the media, the A-listers famously fell in love on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, embarking on a romance that made headlines all over the world.
In 2016, however, Jolie filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. She also moved to request sole custody of the pairs six children, Maddox, Pax, Shiloh, Zahara, Vivienne and Knox.
On January 21, 2021, Angelina Jolie emailed Brad Pitt, an email which has since then made public. In the email, she mentions that she writes “with a heavy heart.” She informs Pitt of her decision to sell Miraval, “a business that is centered around alcohol.” This is perhaps a reference to the now infamous plane event where an intoxicated Pitt “choked” one of their children and then “struck another in the face” before he poured alcohol on her and the children.
Jolie filed for divorce within days of the alleged event.
Jolie further wrote in the email, “Even now impossible to write this without crying,” Jolie wrote. “Above all, it is the place we brought the twins home to, and where we were married over a plaque in my mother’s memory. A place…where I thought I would grow old…. But it is also the place that marks the beginning of the end of our family.”
“Miraval for me died September 2016,” she wrote, continuing to refer to the date of Pitt’s alleged meltdown on the plane; the actress continued, “and everything I have seen in the years since has sadly confirmed that.”
But now it seems Brad Pitt is saying someone else. A source said, “Brad is very careful and intentional about who he dates. He likes to ease into things and let things grow naturally.”
The actor is reportedly dating Ines de Ramon, who was famously married to Paul Wesley of Vampire Diaries fame. According to a source, the couple are “happy being low-key.”
The source clarified, “Brad and Ines are still seeing each other and having fun. They enjoy each other’s company and have similar interests. They’re both creative, like to travel, and are happy being low-key. Things are good between them, but Brad isn’t rushing anything.”
Entertainment Tonight confirmed that the couple was together in December 2022. “It is still new, but they are seeing where things go and like each other,” a source revealed at the time. “They are having a good time together.” The couple was seen vacationing together in Mexico for New Year’s Eve.
As for whether Jolie and Pitt’s children had met her, it was not the case. “Brad prefers to keep things separate at this point in time,” the source shared. But apparently, she had been in the room when he talked to his children on the phone.
Now de Ramon was seen with a very telling “B” charm hanging from her necklace. And people are wondering whether it is in honor of the actor. Of course, nothing is confirmed, but their romance’s rumors have people speculating.
