Caitlyn Jenner lashes out at President Joe Biden for what he did on Easter Weekend – ‘absolutely disgusted’

Caitlyn Jenner is very vocal about her beliefs and does not believe she is silencing herself. She has a lot of strong opinions, and this week, President Joe Biden caught her attention for something he did.

Keep reading to see what happened that upset Caitlyn Jenner so much.

Caitlyn Jenner is upset with President Biden for something she thinks he has done, which she found offensive. Jenner came to X (formerly known as Twitter) to air out her grievances against the current President of the United States over what she thought was a coordinated effort to conflate a Christian holiday with a day that celebrates transgender people.

She posted to X on Saturday, a day before International Transgender Day of Visibility, which happened to fall on Easter this year. She specifically called out President Biden.

She wrote in her post, “I am absolutely disgusted that Joe Biden has declared the most Holy of Holy days – a self proclaimed devout Catholic – as Transgender Day of Visibility. The only thing you should be declaring on this day is ‘HE is Risen’.”

It might seem a little weird that Jenner has taken this stance, considering that she herself is a transgender person. But she seems to be very upset about this nonetheless.

The concerning aspect of this is that her facts are not accurate. The Transgender Day of Visibility is something that has been around since 2009 when Barack Obama was in office. However, Caitlyn might be confused by the White House proclamation that was shared last week, which makes it seem like Biden is enacting this.

The proclamation read, “NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR., President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim March 31, 2024, as Transgender Day of Visibility.”

The proclamation goes on to say, “I call upon all Americans to join us in lifting up the lives and voices of transgender people throughout our Nation and to work toward eliminating violence and discrimination based on gender identity.”

While the wording may suggest that Biden initiated this day, this is not true. While the tradition has been around since 2009, the Biden administration seems to be the one bringing it more to the spotlight.
