Cardi B has finally shared the name of her youngest child, revealing what her baby boy with NFL player Stefon Diggs is called.
The Grammy-winning rapper, Cardi B, 34, announced the name in a birthday tribute celebrating her son’s first birthday, nearly a year after his arrival.
Among the images she shared, she also added pictures of the little boy in a doctor’s uniform with the shows Grey’s Anatomy’s logo in the background which were presumably from this past Halloween. The reason for the costume of course had to do with the baby’s name, which is Grey Marsean Diggs.
People were impressed by the name and the connection she to the show, one person wrote, “Omgg what a play on with his name and costume!! Grey M.D. Marsean Diggs … Grey’s Anatomy. She definitely thought about this lol” while another wrote, “The name is soo creative if he becomes a doctor it’s going to be very fitting.”
Another fan wrote, “Cardi, Grey is too cute!!!! And that Halloween costume is brilliant! The double entendres. Grey’s Anatomy…Grey M.D. for his initials and doctor of medicine. Love thatttt”
Addressing her son directly in the caption, she reflected on how quickly the past year had gone by.
“It’s only been 1 year since meeting you but it feels like I’ve had you at my side forever,” she wrote.
Cardi also opened up about the circumstances surrounding her pregnancy, explaining that she was carrying Grey during one of the most uncertain periods of her life.
“I carried you through one of the most uncertain high pressured times of my life,” she shared. “I was growing you inside of me and at the same time you were giving me life! You gave a new meaning to what a Grey day feels like.”
She continued by praising her son’s personality and the happiness he has brought into her life.
“You light up my life and every room with your smile your laugh and your precious spirit,” Cardi added.
Grey Is Cardi B’s Fourth Child
Grey is the artist’s fourth child and her first with Stefon Diggs.
Cardi is also a mother to three children from her previous relationship with rapper Offset: daughter Kulture Kiari, 8, son Wave Set, 5, and daughter Blossom Belle, 2.
Although Cardi confirmed Grey’s birth last November, she and Diggs had kept his name private until now.
At the time, the family simply shared that both mother and baby were healthy and happy following the birth.
The birthday tribute has now given fans their first official confirmation of the little boy’s full name.
Cardi B Is Building Businesses So She Can Leave Something Behind For Her Children
The name reveal comes during what appears to be a busy period for Cardi, who has also been working on expanding her business interests beyond the music industry.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight in September, the beloved celebrity explained that she wanted to build businesses that could provide long-term security for her four children.
Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Almánzar, said she had started thinking about what would happen to her children if she were no longer around.
“I was panicking. It’s like, yo, I leave this earth and my kids [are] going to have just music royalties that they’re most [likely] going to have to be arguing people about it,” she said.
“They’re going to have a couple of properties and a couple of liquid money, but it’s like what is something that God forbid something happens to me, I leave behind that is for them?”
She specifically mentioned her haircare brand, Grow Good, explaining that she wanted it to become something her children could inherit.
“ This is, God forbid, something happened to me; this is theirs,” she said.
Cardi Previously Announced Her Pregnancy With Stefon Diggs In 2025
Cardi first revealed that she was expecting a child with Diggs during an interview with CBS Mornings in September 2025.
Speaking to anchor Gayle King, she confirmed the news, saying, “I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs.”
At the time, she also spoke about feeling confident and positive despite balancing her career with pregnancy.
“I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong, very powerful that I’m doing all this work – but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby,” she explained.
Now, with Grey’s first birthday celebrated and his name finally public, Cardi has given fans another glimpse into her growing family.
