Good grief!
That’s how many of us reacted when the news was announced in October that the classic Charlie Brown holidays specials wouldn’t air on television this year. Seriously, what else could go wrong in 2020?
But, perhaps we finally caught a break.
On Wednesday, Apple and PBS announced that the beloved “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” and “A Charlie Brown Christmas” would air on PBS and PBS Kids this year.
In addition to streaming ad-free on Apple TV+, the holiday favorites will air on PBS and PBS Kids on November 22 and December 13, respectively, at 7:30 pm local time.
While streaming shows are convenient, and allow you the opportunity to watch them multiple times, there’s nothing like watching a Charlie Brown holiday special on TV with commercials.
Maybe not everything about 2020 is so bad after all.
