Actor Owen Wilson is adored by millions of people around the world. Recently, the actor was subjected to an invasion in his home of which the intention was burglary.
The thief was caught and the stole item recovered. And you will not believe what item had been stolen.
54-year-old actor Owen Wilson was not at his house when someone broke into his Santa Monica home. A homeless person allegedly broke into the residence and stole something peculiar.
According to police, the intrusion was detected when Wilson’s assistant came across the intruder.
When the intruder and Wilson’s assistant came face to face, both ran outside in different directions. The assistant immediately called 911 for assistance, and police found the intruder in a nearby yard soon after.
The intruder has now been booked on felony burglary charges. But what seems peculiar is what the burglar stole; a pair of the Hollywood actor’s pyjamas.
According to reports, the burglar rummaged around Wilson’s home and all he took was a lone pair of pyjamas after apparently taking a shower on the property as well.
A media outlet reported that the cops believed that the burglar was unaware that he was in Wilson’s home.
Wilson has not addressed this incident as of yet. And this is not the first time something of this sort has happened at his Santa Monica residence. Last summer when Wilson parked his Tesla out on the street infront of his residence, someone made off with his car’s tires and rims!
Owen Wilson is no stranger to law procedures. The actor spent a considerable amount of time in court due to ex-girlfriend Varunie Vongsvirates claiming she gave birth to his daughter and asked him to accept paternity.
Lyla was born in 2018, and from the start, it seemed like Owen Wilson didn’t want anything to do with her.
Earlier the same year, the actor was said to have undergone a paternity test, after Vongsvirates claimed that he was the father, according to US Magazine.
“Owen has been a great father to his two boys and has maintained a warm and close relationship with their mothers. Of course, if a paternity test establishes that he is the father of another child, he will fulfill all of his obligations to support his child,” the source said.
Months after Lyla’s birth, it was clear that Owen Wilson was uninterested in having a role in her life. US Weekly sources said that Wilson “refused” to meet Lyla. But from the start, it was very clear that she was the spitting image of him.
“He even checked the no visitation box in court in June. He does not want to visit [and does not] want any custody of her,” the source said.
Speaking with The Daily Mail, Vongsvirates said that Wilson is “not involved at all” and has never met Lyla. However, she explained that he helps out in other ways.“He helps financially but it’s never been about that,” she said.
