Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s return to the UK sparked reactions not only among royal fans, but also inside palace walls. Now, a bombshell report suggests Meghan has become furious over what Prince William and Kate MIddleton did just days after their UK arrival.
It’s been months since the bombshell news broke. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, together with their kids, Archie and Lilibet, left their quiet life behind in Montecito, California, and instead moved back to the UK.
The Duke and Duchess’ return has sparked mixed emotions and confusion; Are they planning a royal return? Or do they have something else in mind?
It didn’t take long after their return across the pond for drama to unfold. Harry and Meghan pulled their two children out of school after just two days, citing security concerns. Many question the estranged prince and his wife’s decision for Archie and Lilibet, who have now enrolled at a new school.
But the question on everyone’s minds was still the royal dilemma. Harry and Meghan left the Firm years ago. Since then, the feud with the Royal Family has worsened as they revealed more and more details about their life within the palace walls. It includes stories about King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Kate Middleton.
The Prince and Princess of Wales have ended all contact with Harry and Meghan, and the two brothers are said not to have spoken for several years.
King Charles’ letter about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
As Harry and Meghan returned to the UK, the Palace felt it had to act to clear up any questions. In mid-September, a letter released by the Lord Chamberlain, on behalf of King Charles, put any speculations to rest.
The letter, released to “relevant senior stakeholders across government, the military and Lord Lieutenancies,” read, “Following the decision by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to relocate to the UK, we have received a number of requests for guidance. To help avoid doubt or confusion, The King has directed that the following information be shared.”
“It is well known that in January 2020 the Duke and Duchess stepped down from undertaking representative duties on behalf of The Sovereign, and are no longer working members of the Royal Family.”
It continued, “This position, distinct from the state and royal duties undertaken by the working Royal Family, and with the personal latitude it brings the couple in respect of financial independence and protection of their privacy as they would wish, will continue to be fully respected.”
Moreover, according to the letter, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle cannot use the titles “His Royal Highness” or “Her Royal Highness.” moving forward either.
Prince Harry and Meghan were caught off guard by the letter and, via a spokesperson, said they were “surprised.”

It didn’t take long for other claims about the letter to filter through the palace walls. Now new bombshell reports about King Charles’ letter from earlier this week have surfaced. It appears the future king had more to do with his father’s letter than most people knew.
According to journalist Rob Shuter, who cited a source, Prince William pushed to have the letter written. The Prince of Wales had reportedly grown tired of the confusion surrounding Harry and Meghan’s place within the Royal family.
“William had had enough of the confusion,” the source claimed, Shuter wrote on his Substack page. “Lord Lieutenancies were asking how Harry and Meghan should be treated. William’s answer was brutally simple: nothing has changed. They are out.”
Prince William reportedly helped write the letter, which did not land well with Meghan Markle. According to Heat World, Kate Middleton also helped push the letter. The source said Meghan was aware of it – and it made the Duchess furious.
“The latest statement from the Palace was very much pushed by William and Kate – and Meghan knows that,” the source told Heat World.

“The Waleses have felt totally blindsided by the way Harry and Meghan announced their arrival back to the UK, and with everything that’s happened over the last few years, they just don’t trust them. There is nothing new in the statement, but William felt it was necessary to remind them where the lines are drawn before anything happens.”
The source added, “Meghan is furious over it. She has no intention of allowing the Palace to push her aside or treat her as though she is no longer important, especially by William and Kate. She won’t let them stand in her way.”
