Dr. Phil’s show has got millions of fans around the world. The beloved daytime television show host has decided something which has broken the hearts of his fans worldwide.

Phil McGraw is the much-beloved television show host of the show, Dr. Phil. With a doctorate in Psychology, Phil McGraw grapples with the everyday problems of various Americans, helping them resolve issues and get closure.
His show has been a smash hit and is watched around the world by millions of people. Now the 72-year-old television show host has made a shocking announcement, much to the dismay of his millions of fans.

The notorious host made a statement that read, “I have been blessed with over 25 wonderful years in daytime television.” It went on, “With this show, we have helped thousands of guests and millions of viewers through everything from addiction and marriage to mental wellness and raising children.”
“This has been an incredible chapter of my life and career,” he added. “But while I’m moving on from daytime, there is so much more I wish to do.”
According to Phil McGraw, he will now be focusing on “strategic prime-time partnership.” He has not, however, clarified what this will exactly entail.
“I am compelled to engage with a broader audience because I have grave concerns for the American family,” McGraw lamented in the statement, “and I am determined to help restore a clarity of purpose as well as our core values.”
His own life has been anything but smooth, especially his initial years.
As per Amomama, the television personality explained: “We moved around a lot. We moved every two or three years because my dad was an alcoholic.”
Dr. Phil would go on to state that he tried to avoid his father as much as possible during those years, due to the fact that his dad was prone to unpredictable mood swings and disturbing behavior as a result of his drinking.
“[I] came and went through the bedroom window so I didn’t have to go through the house. It was total chaos…Yelling, screaming violence, domestic violence,” Dr. Phil shared.
“I’ve been homeless,” Dr. Phil revealed in 2021. “I’ve lived on the streets of Kansas City… I’ve slept in a cardboard box.”
But his life turned around drastically in the end.
Before he earned and launched his own self-titled daytime talk show in the year 2002, Phil McGraw would routinely appear on The Oprah Winfrey Show for several years in the late 90s. He had made a name for himself and was widely popular with audiences.
CBS Media Ventures has announced their plans to “offer stations library episodes of Dr. Phil for the 2023-2024 season and beyond. The classic library episodes will include new content such as wraparounds and intros by McGraw, as well as guest updates.”
Surely, everyone will miss Dr. Phil and his magnetic personality on our television screens. He has truly shaped an entire generation and is a staple in many homes.
