Beyonce and Jay-Z apparently met sometime in 1999 or 2000. They reportedly began dating in 2001, when Beyonce was about 20 years old and Jay-Z was about 32 years old.
It was in 2002 when they first did an official collaboration together when Beyonce appeared in Jay-Z’s video of “’03 Bonnie and Clyde.”
The couple married one another in 2007 in a super private ceremony at Jay’s apartment. The couple did not release any pictures to the public but videos of the ceremony were played in “On the Run” tour and in Lemonade.
Blue Ivy Carter was born to parents Beyonce and Jay-Z on January 7, 2012 at Lennox Hill Hospital in New York. She was only a few weeks old when she became a ‘recording artist.’ Jay-Z released the song “Glory,” just a few weeks after the birth of his daughter and it featured a sample of her crying.
