Four months ago, there were reports that 77-year-old Cher had split up with her boyfriend, 37-year-old Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards. In May this year, there were reports that the couple had amicably parted ways. The news of the breakup came five months after Cher had been spotted with a large ring on her finger, which sparked speculation that the couple might be engaged.
However, it later became clear in reports that the ring was a gift and not an engagement ring.
The couple was first seen together in November 2022 after they met at Paris Fashion Week. In December 2022, Cher appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show for an interview where she talked about her relationship. She talked about Alexander and said he was “very kind,” “very smart,” “very talented,” and “really funny.”
“On paper, it’s kind of ridiculous,” the singer said of her relationship at the time. “But, in real life, we get along great. He’s fabulous and I don’t give men qualities that they don’t deserve.”

The iconic singer was seen holding hands with the 37-year-old music executive on Saturday. The two of them were seen outside Funke, an Italian restaurant in Beverly Hills. The couple was seemingly joined by J Balvin and his girlfriend, Valentina Ferrer. It was reported that Tyga also joined the group.
Cher and Edwards were in matching black ensembles; the icon was wearing a black blazer, while Edwards wore a black puffer jacket.
