A new ransom note has been received in the case of Nancy Guthrie, the missing mother of Savannah Guthrie. The note has been handed over to the FBI who is on the case.

84-year-old Nancy Guthrie has been missing now for over 10 days, having first been kidnapped on February 1. She was first reported as missing when she failed to turn up at a friend’s house, where she was due to watch a church service together.

In the time since, ransom notes have been received which contain details of a price that has to be paid. The ransom deadlines have since passed.

Police have been on the case from the get-go and searched the area around the house. They have also released images and video which show a masked and armed suspect who is attempting to tamper with the doorbell camera at the property, which belongs to Guthrie.

A man was also arrested in connection with the case, but was later released. So far, law enforcement has been unable to apprehend anyone credible enough to be a suspect.

Now, TMZ reports that another ransom note has been received with a very specific demand that could help the family see Nancy again.

This time, the note has a link to a different Bitcoin wallet. The last one had demanded $6,000,000. It is not yet known how credible the note is, but TMZ reports that it has been handed over to the FBI.

The sender of the note apparently tried to get in touch with the Guthrie family, Savannah, brother Camron, and sister Annie by email and text before they sent the note to the news agency at 5:00 AM PST on February 11.

The note allegedly reads, “If they want the name of the individual involved then I want 1 Bitcoin to the following wallet.”

The note ends with what seems like an eerie warning, “Time is more than relevant.”

TMZ says they have verified that this is a different Bitcoin account than the last one.

There is currently a $50,000 reward by the FBI for any information that leads to the arrest of those who took Nancy Guthrie. One Bitcoin is currently valued at around $66,000.

We are hoping the family is reunited with Nancy Guthrie soon. Share this with others who might be keeping up with this case.
