Jenna Bush Hager, co-host of fourth hour of ‘Today’, says her children will ‘never be invited’ on live TV again

Kids will be kids, right?

And that’s precisely why Jenna Bush Hager doesn’t plan on bringing any of her three children on live television anymore.

The co-host of Today with Hoda & Jenna said her children have revealed too many “truth bombs,” especially her eldest Mila.

Bush Hager brought her two daughters Margaret “Mila” Laura, 10, and Poppy Louise, 7, to Today on Tuesday to see Ed Sheeran perform, but later informed co-host Hoda Kotb that neither would be invited to appear on the show.

When Kotb questioned Bush Hager’s decision, the mother of three explained, “because they just like to get secrets out of you. They’re allowed to come and watch the concert but they’re nowhere close to microphones.”

Bush Hager is referring to December when 10-year-old Mila, then 9, appeared on the show and spoke with Kotb and her mother about their family adopting a cat. During the conversation Kotb told Mila how she loved when Bush Hager laughs “so hard she can’t catch her breath.”

“Yeah, one time she was laughing in our living room and she peed her pants!” Mila chimed in. “You changed your pajamas!” telling her mom on live TV.

“Thank you, Mila,” Bush Hager said, clearly embarrassed. “Thank you so much.”

While Bush Hager tried to get her daughter off set, Kotb tried to get Mila to reveal one more secret about her mother.

And she had no problem doing so.

“She never wears underwear! She is not wearing it right now! I saw her change!”

“Okay, goodbye! Goodbye, I love you!” Bush Hager said as she rushed her daughter off stage.

And that’s precisely why Bush Hager’s children aren’t allowed on live television anymore.

Kids. They say what’s on their mind no matter what the situation. You gotta love them though.
