Twilight star Taylor Lautner has become a father for the first time. He and his wife, Tay, have welcomed their first child, and fans can’t stop talking about the little girl’s name.
Taylor Lautner and his wife, Tay Lautner, have officially become parents for the first time. The Twilight star and his wife announced the happy news on September 23, sharing a first glimpse of their newborn daughter with fans.
The couple revealed that their little girl is named Lennon Taylor Lautner, and they already have an adorable nickname for her: Lenny.
“One week loving our sweet little Lenny Lennon Taylor Lautner. 9.16.2026,” the couple wrote on Instagram, alongside the photo.
The post revealed that Lennon was born on September 16. In the sweet picture, the newborn wears a pink onesie and lies on a blanket beside a keepsake displaying her name.
Her middle name, Taylor, has a very special connotation. Why? Well, both parents share the same name.
In March, Taylor and Tay announced they were expecting their first child. At the time, they joked about their matching names with the caption: “What’s better than two Taylor Lautners?”

They later revealed they were having a baby girl in June. Before their daughter arrived, Tay also opened up about the pressure of choosing a name.
During an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, she said Taylor was among the names they were considering.
“I feel like if I don’t name my baby Taylor, the Internet’s literally gonna cancel me,” she joked.
The couple eventually found a way to keep the family name while giving their daughter her own first name. Taylor and Tay began dating in 2018. They married in November 2022.
