Kate Middleton’s recovery “more difficult” than expected – “major concern” for the Palace

Kate Middleton’s rollercoaster recovery continues to take twists and turns, many of which are unverified by official sources and rather born of fanciful theories by a fan base desperate for information.

What we do know is that Kate underwent an abdominal procedure in late January, one serious enough to see her hospitalized for some 13 days at the London Clinic. Following her return to Adelaide Cottage, very few concrete updates have been offered by the Royal Family, paving the way for all manner of rumor to run wild around the internet.

Hardly helping matters was the fact that no pictures or videos of Kate were released, meaning that the public hadn’t seen the popular princess since Christmas of last year.

Then, with the clamor having hit an all-time high, an image of Kate and her children finally surfaced to mark Mother’s Day in the UK.

As if the suspense and speculation wasn’t already rampant enough, said image was pulled by the world’s leading photo agencies over concerns that it had been doctored. Kate herself later admitted to having edited the picture, birthing all manner of new conspiracy theories that the Royal Family’s reputation could certainly have done without.

That was last week though, and a new video that’s made its way to the internet seems to depict Kate on film for the first time since her surgery. In the clip, Kate and Prince William are reportedly seen walking side-by-side in the car park of a farm shop, with the former smiling and looking healthy.

Yet according to a report in RadarOnline, Kate’s recovery from surgery has been “more difficult” than expected.

To date Kensington Palace has remained relatively tightlipped about Kate’s condition, and in-the-know sources are said to have confided in RadarOnline that they’re endeavoring to hide the severity of the situation.

One source told the outlet: “Kate is struggling to eat. She continues to recover after the surgery, but the recuperation has been more difficult than expected.”

The source added: “Kate was already painfully thin, so this is a cause for major concern behind palace walls.”

At the time of writing it’s still not know exactly what caused Kate’s surgery in the first place. Reports have stated that her issue was non-cancerous, though that of course leaves all manner of other illness and conditions on the table.

This past weekend an insider is said to have told The Sunday Times that the Princess of Wales may release more information about her health when she is ready.

“They will want to be clear and more open, but they’ll do it when they feel ready,” an insider said. “I would expect that to be her instinct and it will be her call. They’re not going to be rushed.”

We hope Kate Middleton is recovering well. Leave a comment and let us know what you think about the whole situation.
