Last year, Kathie Lee Gifford welcomed her first-ever grandchild to the world. The first time grandmother was beaming with pride. When her son and daughter-in-law welcomed their firstborn to the world, she shared a post and wrote, “celebrating with my son and his beautiful wife and their love for one another. This is a blessing from God in His way and in His timing.”
Late last month, when her grandson was five months old, she shared a picture of him on Twitter and wrote, “My precious little bubbela wants to wish you all a blessed Thursday He says he hopes you are happy and healthy!”
Frank “Frankie” Michael Gifford was born May 31 to Gifford’s son Cody and his wife Erika Gifford.
Erika shared the news on Instagram calling it “the best day of our lives.”
“At a whopping 8lbs 8oz three weeks early, Frank Michael Gifford, ‘Frankie’ has changed our lives forever. We have not stopped bursting with so much love and gratitude for God’s most precious gift.”
The couple, who began dating in 2013 and wed in 2020, named their first child after Cody’s father, Frank Gifford, the Hall of Fame football legend.
Now Gifford’s 29-year-old daughter Cassidy has announced the arrival of her own bundle of joy, expanding Gifford’s family by one more member. Cassidy tied the knot with her husband Ben Wierda, in June 2020. She took to social media to announce the birth of her child writing, “Our whole entire world. Finn Thomas Wierda 6.24.2023. We are so madly in love with you, buddy. Thank you, Lord for this most precious gift.”
Grandma Kathie Lee Gifford expressed her excitement in the comment section, writing, “Cassidy, you and Ben are a wonder. The love you have for each other is so beautifully expressed in the way you care for your newborn Finn, who is the best of both of you!” Gifford wrote. “Praise our loving LORD Who is the God of family! I am beyond rejoicing with you, and for you!🙏🏻🐑🎶.”
Gifford shared that she prefers to be called Bubbeh in-lieu of Grandma. The new mother’s sister-in-law Erika also commented on the post, saying, “Little buddy 🥹 Love our precious nephew so much 🤍.”
Just a month ago, Cody and Erika revealed they are expecting baby number 2. In a short while, Gifford is set to become a grandmother to three!
