Cher is an icon in every way. The singer and actress has left a mark on history that cannot be rivaled by many. In her recent years she has become an avid animal rights activist and makes headlines for her work in that sector.

But now it seems that there is another issue that has gotten her in the headlines, and it involves her second son, Elijah Blue Allman. Cher shares Allman with her ex-husband Gregg Allman. Her youngest child was born on July 10, 1976, and is now 47 years old.

Cher’s eldest son is Chaz Bono who was born to her on March 4, 1969. She had Chaz with her ex-husband Sonny Bono, whom she performed with in the famed duo named Sonny & Cher.

While Chaz Bono routinely gets media attention, especially after his transition into a man, her son Elijah Blue Allman is vastly out of the media’s sights until now.

Cher is being accused to having her son Allman kidnapped from a New York hotel room in order to stop him from reconciling with his ex-wife, Marie Angela King.

The couple wed in 2013 and have been estranged recently. Now, amid their ongoing divorce proceedings, some serious allegations against Cher have come out. In court documents filed by King at the Los Angeles Superior Court back on December 5th of 2022, it says that Cher hired four men to ‘kidnap’ her son Allman.

King and Allman had spent 12 days alone together since November 18th, but on November 30th, everything changed. Four men barged into the couple’s hotel room and ‘removed’ Allman on the night of their wedding anniversary.

“I was told by one of the four men who took him that they were hired by petitioner’s mother,” the court documents show King’s statement. “Since August 2022, I have been told that I am not allowed to see or speak to [Allman] who is currently in lockdown at a treatment facility that is undisclosed to me. I am also told [Allman] has no access to his phone.”

King goes on to allege that the “Believe” singer asked her to leave their family home in Allman’s absence.

The court documents read, “I did so on the belief that my support payments would be timely, and I would be able to afford housing.” They said, “I was not allowed to retrieve all my belongings from our primary home and residence, nor was I given the opportunity to inventory our assets.”

The next court is on October 27, 2023, where more about this case will likely be revealed.
