Following his recovery, he was back to training by October. Jules credited his mental performance coach, Cecilia Delage, for helping him get back into competition form. “I work with her a lot. I also watch diver videos or my dives. I looked back at last year’s dives to see what I missed, what was good and what wasn’t so good, to self-correct and see what I could improve. I did some dry rehearsal. I imagine myself in my head on the board and I rehearse on the floor,” he explained.

They showed incredible form,” he said. “Every single one of their dives was flawless.”
