Jeremy Renner is an incredibly popular actor who gained worldwide recognition and stardom for his role as Hawkeye in the Avengers franchise from Marvel. So when news came out that Renner had had a terrible accident, people were incredibly concerned and worried.
The accident happened as a result of the 52-year-old actor pushing his nephew out of the path of the snow plow and as a result coming under it himself. His injuries from being run over by the snow plow were brutal. They included “30 plus broken bones” and “blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries,” for which the actor required emergency surgery.

Since his accident, the actor realized how worried his fans have been and has been gradually giving them updates about his health. In a recent update, the 52-year-old posted a video of him walking on a treadmill. He wrote with the video, “Now is the time for my body to rest and recover from my will.
The clip is a testament to the actor’s own will power and how much he has progressed in the last three months after the accident which left him in critical condition.
The actor joked about how he was “in the shop now, working on me,” referring to his physical therapy and other procedures and therapies he was trying in order to get better.
The actor shared earlier that he was also getting electric stimulation on his leg as a way to heal and get his movement back.
The actor has said he plans to do “whatever it takes” to get better both emotionally and physically once again.
The actor shared a note his nephew wrote to him which made Renner emotional because of how sweet it was. The note read, “I am very lucky because my uncle is hawk-eye (which is 1 of the Avengers),” Renner’s nephew’s added, “I am also very lucky that my uncle is alive from his accident.”
He posted the sweet hand-written note on Instagram, he wrote, “Love my little man. Bless you Auggie.”
It is unclear where Auggie is the same nephew the actor prevented from being run-over.
