“Looksmaxxer” influencer Clavicular shares new update on horrific injuries after suspected livestream overdose

Braden Eric Peters, who calls himself “Clavicular” online, was reportedly rushed to the hospital after a suspected overdose following a livestream.

The influencer, known for promoting “looksmaxxing,” abruptly ended a livestream on April 14 while meeting fans at a mall in Miami and was taken to the hospital. According to TMZ, he appeared visibly unwell.

“I’m trying my best to lock in but I’m a little destroyed right now… Holy s*** dude, I’m trying my best but I’m f***ing destroyed right now… Holy f***,” he said, according to VT.

The incident came shortly after his appearance on 60 Minutes Australia, which sparked backlash, with critics calling out his extreme “looksmaxxing” practices. The trend encourages men to change their appearance in order to “look their best,” sometimes through methods medical professionals have warned can be dangerous.

Was wildly criticized after the interview

During his interview with 60 Minutes Australia, Clavicular rejected being part of the incel community: “Looksmaxxing is self-improvement, right? So it’s about potentially ascending out of that category, and so that would be one of the goals, to disassociate from being an incel and overcome that,” he said, according to VT.

Some of the criticism also focused on his connection to Andrew Tate. He was reportedly asked, “You’ve obviously shared company with Andrew Tate and other, dare I say, rather controversial figures, why do you spend time with people like that?,” to which he responded: “All right, have a nice day,” before walking out and blaming the reporter for trying to make the interview “political.”

Clavicular has openly admitted to taking steroids to change his appearance and has described “bone smashing” – using a hammer to alter facial bones – as “legit.”

“That was brutal”

During the livestream on April 14, he told a fan, “I’m absolutely gone,” and continued: “Let me go sit somewhere… where’s somewhere I can go sit down for a sec? Oh my god, f***ing hell.”

He was later reportedly helped into a nearby restaurant, where he sat in a booth with friends. Influencer Androgenic asked how he was feeling, to which he replied: “I’m gone.”

Androgenic allegedly offered him Adderall, a prescription central nervous system stimulant, before the livestream ended abruptly. Emergency services were contacted, and his friends reportedly called in saying the situation was a “20-year-old male overdose,” according to VT.

A day later, he provided an update on X, writing: “Just got home, that was brutal.. All of the substances are just a cope trying to feel neurotypical while being in public, but obviously that isn’t a real solution.

“The worst part of tonight was my face descending from the life support mask.”
